Spring 2024 Baseball Tryouts January 13th, 2024

Tryouts will be hosted at Bernal Intermediate on January13th, 2024.
All participants league age 7-15 will be issued a number based on their league age for Spring 2024 (i.e. Johnny Smith is league age 8, he will be issued number 801).

Participants will then be issued a try out time based on their league age and the schedule is posted below
Please arrive 30 minutes early to check in, warm up, and double check your uniform size.
Please bring all equipment to tryouts (glove, bat, helmet, cleats) and come dressed in appropriate baseball attire.
NOTE: Softball Tryout dates are TBA (Late January or Early February)

• This is a draftable division, therefore, all team placements are FINAL.
• Siblings can be requested to be drafted on the same team, but this IS NOT a guarantee.
• All participants must attend a tryout to be eligible for post season All Stars. If the participant does not attend try outs, they will be an anonymous hat pick and will not be eligible for post season All Stars.
• Participants will be evaluated based on the following skills:
  •  Fly balls, grounders, efficiency of fielding, pitching, bunting, batting, base running, and sliding.

• Participants ages 7-8 will try out
• Teams will be formed equally based on independent evaluator scores.
• Participants will be evaluated based on the following skills :
  • Fly balls, grounders, efficiency of fielding, pitching, batting and base running.
• If your 8 year old wishes to tryout for AAA, this must be submitted via e-mail to [email protected] before January 1, 2023
  • 8 year-olds wishing to play up a division must try out with the 9 year old age group
  • Placement in the AAA division IS NOT a guarantee due to the draft
