Baseball Division Information Chart

Division	Little League Ages	Team Formation	Style of play	Notes
Seniors	16's - Default 15's - Default	Draft	Player Pitch 60/90 Field	Play starts in May at the end of the High School Baseball Season
Juniors	14’s - Default 13’s - drafted	Draft	Player Pitch 60/90 Field	Only 14 and 13 year olds can play in this Division
Intermediate	13's - Default	Draft	Player Pitch 50/70 Field	Only 13 year olds can play in this Division.
Majors	12’s - Default 11’s - drafted 10’s - drafted	Draft	Player Pitch	All 12’s default here. Total number of teams will be set based on even distribution of 12’s pre-draft. Teams are then filled out through draft of 11’s and 10’s 10 year olds eligible to be drafted in first 9 rounds only
PCL	11’s - Default 10’s - drafted 9’s - drafted	Draft	Player Pitch	Default division for 11’s who are not drafted to majors. 10’s can be drafted into this division 9’s can be drafted up using same criteria as 10’s in majors
AAA	10’s - Default 9’s - Default 8’s - drafted	Draft	Player Pitch	10’s not drafted into Majors or PCL or 10’s with no previous experience will default to the AAA division 9’s will default to AAA unless drafted into PCL 8’s can be drafted up using same criteria as 9’s in PCL and 10’s in majors
AA	8’s - Default 7’s - Evaluation	Evaluation. Formed by Player Agent based on independent evaluators scoring.	Player/Machine pitch Developmental	Default division for 8’s who are not drafted to AAA 7’s may be placed here by independent evaluator Introduction to player pitch from 42’ mound. Upon ball four, batter will receive three good pitches from pitching machine Coach pitch at the AA level is eliminated
A	7’s - Default	Evaluation. Formed by Player Agent based on independent evaluators scoring.	Machine Pitch Developmental	5 machine pitched balls at 30 to 35 mph. Speed set at beginning of game and remains unchanged.
Farm	6’s - Default	No evaluation. Formed by Player Agent	Coach-pitch Skill-building	Introduction to live pitching. Coach pitches 5 balls from ~15-18 feet
T-Ball	5’s - Default	No evaluation. Formed by Player Agent	Team Concepts Fundamentals	One practice and a single weekend game each week
Pre-T	4’s - Default	No evaluation. Formed by Player Agent	Team Concepts Fundamentals	Single one hour combined practice / game on Saturdays

Typical Schedule Information

Spring Season Timeline

Tryouts:
Mid-January (All Players registering for AA and up will participate in a Tryout prior to being drafted or placed on a team. For more information on the Tryout process, please refer to our Bylaws.)

Pre-Season Practices:
Practices Begin, Upper Divisions (Ages 9 & Up): Late January to Mid-February

Practices Begin, Lower Divisions (Ages 8 & Down): Mid-February to Early March

Games:
Early to March-March to Mid-June
Pre-Tee & Tee Ball: 1 Game per week (Saturdays)
A: 1 game per week until May, then 2 per week (Saturday, Weekday)
AA & AAA: 2 Games per week (Saturday, Weekday)
Majors: 2 Games per week, occasionally a 3rd (Saturday, Weekday and Friday Night lights games)
Intermediate, Juniors & Seniors: Up to 3 games per week, travel in South Bay & Peninsula
Total Baseball/Softball Event Commitment per week:

Practice Notes:
Practices Days and Times are determined once a player is placed on a team.
Practices generally start after 4:30 PM on Weekdays, but specific days and times are determined by the Manager.
Prior to games starting, there may be practices on Saturdays.
Some teams may also practice on Sundays.

Fall Season Timeline
The Fall season does not have tryouts or pre-season practices

Games:
Saturday after Labor Day to Mid-November
Pre-Tee through Majors: 1 Game per week (Saturdays) - AAA & Majors may occasionally travel within neighboring League
Intermediate, Juniors & Seniors: Typically 1 game per week on Saturdays/Sundays, but occasionally a 2nd game on weekdays, travel in South Bay & Peninsula
Total Baseball/Softball Event Commitment per week:
