Santa Teresa Little League

Santa Teresa Little League division structure is designed to address the constantly changing demographics of our league, enable better skills development for our players, and create a better baseball experience.

Each year, we will make a final decision on the divisions that will be played, based on total number of player registrations.  It's important to note that for children League Age 6 to 11, and 13-14, the final determination of which division in which your child will play will be determined in one of two ways:

1) Via the draft -players league age 8 and up are subject to the draft into the AAA, Majors, Intermediate and Juniors Divisions. The chart below outlines the divisions eligible for each division

2) Via league placement based on the review of the independent evaluator at tryouts.

League age is used as a guide for determining placement; however, only players age 4, 12 and 15 and up are "required" to play in specific divisions per Little League International rules. For any questions related to the division structure and potential player placement, please reach out to [email protected]
